A founding member of The Arabic Language TEchnology Center: ALTEC which is an NGO society that is trying to combine leading academic with industrial figures and visions.

MCIT's  Data Mining & Computer Modeling (DMCM) Center of Excellence (CoE) launched in late 2005 to boost high quality R&D in the field of CIT in Egypt with support of the Egyptian IT Industry Development Agency (ITIDA).

RDI is a member of the Int’l Speech Communication Association (ISCA); www.ISCA-Speech.org who organize major Speech Technologiy events like InterSpeech (previously known as Euro Speech).

Member in the Egyptian Information, Telecommunications, Electronics, and Software Alliance (EITESAL); www.EITESAL.org.

Member of the Egyptian Export Council for Information Technology (following the ministry of Industry and Foreign Exports) since 2005 on behalf of the industry of e-Learning and e- Content. This council gathers 15 members representing the IT industry in Egypt.

Cofounder, member of the executive committee, and member of the quality committee of eLABs; www.eLABs.org.eg which is an association for the companies working in the field of e-Learning and Multimedia content gathering over 30 members.

Member in the e-Learning Committee of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce.

RDI is an active participant in the activities of the Egyptian Society for Language Engineering (ESoLE) http://www.ESoLE.org.
